Today is the wedding day and the makeup artist was doing Eeyana makeup.
She was thinking that she will has to stay with Arhaan in the wedding hall mandap (canopy).
What if she has panic attacks there?
She has to be prepare.
And on raichand mansion Arhaan was thinking that...that girl has surely have motiv to come here.
Everyone was smiling so after seeing everyone happiness he also smile a little.
And think what will happen after marriage....
ARHAAN POV
I reached kapoor house on my car which was driven by Armaan. I came out from the car and Mrs. Kapoor welcome me and my family with Tilak and Aarti. This is a very private function so only her and my family was attending the wedding .
Then everyone took me towards the canopy and made me sit there. Priest started chanting mantras.
After about half an hour she came with veil on her face which covered her face completely. Her father and brother was holding chunar on her head.
She sat next to me at some distance. After all this time I have known that she is not clingy like other girls. She is not. But i should not trust this probably she is acting.
When priest said that The bride's hand should be placed in the groom's hand.
But she is not moving her hand than her mother came and placed her hand on mine. And she flinched. I can notice that her breathing became slightly uneven. Perhaps nervousness.
Why she is reacting thats way I know she don't know me but she should trust me I already said that I don't want any type of relationship. So I will not take advantage of her.
Priest said we should take seven round of the Holy fire. We stood up and take seven round but she was still far away from me.
She had tightly clenched her lehnga in her fists with her both hands.
After seven round we again sat there and priest said to me to fill her hairline with vermillion and tie the Mangalsutra (nuptial chain) in her neck.
I just filled her hairline without touching her. But how to tie a mangalsutra without touching her. Cause I don't want her to feel like I am taking advantage of her.
When i moved close to her. Her breathing became uneven again. But it only noticable from close so no one knows about it. I just picked the Mangalsutra and moves towards her neck. As soon as I tied the mangalsutra, her tears fell on my hands. I can feel her little bit shaking.
Priest announced us as HUSBAND AND WIFE
After that priest said us to get up and take everyone's blessings. We touched every elder feet actually only i touched she only touch ma, chhoti ma and her mother's feet . She just bowed and didn't touched dadu , dad, chachu and her father's feet.
After elder we moves to Our younger clan who was waiting impatiently. She said a small hello with joined hand to Armaan and I hugged him.
Avyansh and avika was standing there and just grinning like a fool. She went to them but before she could do or say anything she was engulfed in a hug by avyansh and avika. And she becomes froze at her place. And her fist were clenched tightly again.
What is she trying to do that she don't want anyone touch her. She just reciprocated the hug on her one hand . After that her mother came and took Eeyana with her to take rest of half an hour. And went to her room.
We are headed towards the food court.
EEYANA POV
After getting me ready, the makeup artist left my room. I was sitting on the edge of the bed.
What if i get panic attacks by going close to him on wedding pavilion.
God please help me what can I do.
That day I did not need to take the tablet because he did not come close me, but today he will sit with me. What if i take the tablet beforehand.
Yeah that's great. I went to the drawer and took out my tablet and ate it.
The BARAAT has arrived 20 minutes ago.
There is knock on my door and it opens revealing mumma papa and bhai.
Papa came & hugged me said “you are looking like a Angel.”
I had tears in my eyes, I said to papa that I don't want to go and chuckled and say he and his family is very nice Beta.
Than Mumma hugged me and said “God bless you yana. He will be always be on your side.”
And mumma and papa left the room.
Bhai is still looking at the floor like that day and I know he is crying.
“Bhai you are looking at the floor today also it will not go anywhere you can watch it later. I will go from here.” I said to him.
He just hugged me tightly and said “please yana don't go I can't live without you. You had left me Earlier too.”
“Bhai please don't cry.” i said.
“Ha ha tu mat ro nhi to tera makeup utar jayega aur tu fir chudail jaise dikhne lagegi.” He said
(Yes, you don't cry otherwise your makeup will come off and you will look like a witch again.)
And i said “Bhai please.”
He said “okay okay i am sorry I will not do this again.”
I said with a smile “okay, you're forgiven.”
Bhai had a serious look on his face and said “ Yana do you really want to get married to him.”
How can I tell you Bhai? These are the benefits of my contract marriage, if I don't marry Arhaan then you will marry me somewhere else.
Arhaan said that he has no expectation from this relationship.
I froze at my place and said “ ye...yes bhai.” and bhai nodded. And patted my head.
Than papa came with chunar in his hand and said that's it's time to go.
I went to mandap and sat a little bit distance from him.
When priest said to put my hand on his but how can i touch him no i can't I know I already ate the tablet. But what if......
Mumma put my hand on his and i shivered. My breathing became uneven. Due to my panic.
Priest said to take seven round of Holy fire . We stood up but i clenched my lehnga on my fist. And take rounds.
When he filled my hairline. And now he is coming closer to me to tie mangalsutra on my neck. When he put his hand around me I closed my eyes tightly my breathing became uneven again. Tears rolled down from my cheeks. And shivered a little but thank god i already ate that medicine.
When priest told us to take blessings we went but how can I tell touch the mans i know I can touch papa feet but what will that will think of me That I did not touch his family members feet and touched my father's feet. I only bowed in front of them and touch the feets of his mother aunt and my mother.
After we went to his younger brothers and sister.
I greeted a hello with joined hand to Armaan and Armaan hugged Arhaan.
I went to Avyansh and avika I was just going to say hello to avyansh and hug Avika. But before I could say or do anything they both jumped on me for hug and froze at my place and my fist were clenched tightly once again.
After that I just reciprocated the hug on avika side i know avyansh must have felt bad but what should I do, I can't touch him. Than Mumma comes to me and take me to the room for rest .
I came to my room mumma said I should change because on vidai brides should wear clothes and jwellery send by the groom side. I just nodded and went to washroom. Mumma said I will send your cloths to your room and she went out.
I just came to washroom and search for my medicine because my breathing became uneven. Actually I can't breathe. When i found i gulped it down and wait for 10 minutes on that times my eyes were continuously pouring water in the form of tears.
HALF AND HOURS LATER
I dressed up in another lehnga and jwellery its time for vidai( farewell).
My mother came and took me outside with her. Everyone was crying mumma says that I should take care of myself and my new family. I just nodded. Arhaan came to me and said “ let's go Eeyana.”
I went to his car and sat. His brother Armaan was sat on the driving seat. Than he after after greeting to my parents and sat next to me. And i just moved to my side.
When we reached his house his mother welcome us with Aarti. Than we all came to living room. His mother said that i am must be very tired today, so we will do the rest rituals tomorrow.
She took me to His room. And make me sit on his bed and left.
Than around 20 minutes later Arhaan came and lock the door he said me that I should change my clothes it looks very uncomfortable. I just nodded and to walking wardrobe to change my clothes. After changing i went out from wardrobe and he was also sitting on the bed with some paper in his hand.
When he noticed me he said “Eeyana these are the contract papers if you want to add any extra clause we can add it later.”
I read the contract and it says that In front of the world we are husband and wife but in private we are strangers. We will not interfere in anyone else's talk or work. We cannot touch another person or another person's things without their permission.
No i don't want any clause it's perfect. He will not touch me that's what I want.
I said “ No i don't want to add any extra clause this is it what i also want. Thank you Arhaan.” i gestured him to give me a pen he went to his study table and bring a pen and put it on the bed in front of me. I took the pen and sign the paper and put it on the bed and he just pick it up from there and goes to his wordrobe.
He came back and said me to adjust for 3 days we will go back to Mumbai so he will provide me a seperate room on his penthouse. I just nodded. He went to couch and said to that i can sleep on the bed and he will sleep on a couch.
“GENTLEMAN” my subconscious mind screamed.
I picked up the blanket till my head for sleep but, sleep was far away from me. Around 2 hours later i heard the door open. I see outside the blanket there he stood in balcony talking to someone.
ARHAAN POV
She was already sat on the car when i sat next to her she moves towards her side. We reached mansion ma welcomed us with Aarti and said that rest rituals will do tomorrow.
Ma took to my room and when i was going Avyansh and avika said that they want money then they will let me go to my own room. After 5 minutes later they settled at 20 lakhs. I transferred 10 lakh each avyansh and avika's bank account.
I went to my study and bring the contract papers. And goes to my room.
When i open the door she was sitting on the bed i said her to change her clothes.
She cane out i give her the paper and said if she wants anything else she can add it. She said that she don't want any other clause.
She gestured me for a pen i gave her but put it on the bed so that she will not think otherwise.
After signing the papers i said her that she has to bear someday when we moves back to Mumbai i will give her a seperate room. I moves towards couch and laid there and she put the blanket till her head and slept. Around 3:00 Am I received a text from Kabir my PA that sir its urgent please call me when you are free.
I tried to call him but Eeyana was sleeping in the room so I went to the balcony.
When he picked up the call he said that “ Arhaan it's important please come to Mumbai as soon as possible. Because our Valencia client wants meeting on early morning. They are in Mumbai from yesterday.”
I said “ Okay i will come.”
Kabir said “ Sorry to disturb you on your wedding night.”
I said “ No problem Kabir, i will be there till morning.”
He said okay and hung up the call.
I went to dads room and tell hi about the clients he said if can manage it from here that will be fantastic. But i said dad it's 300 million dollars deal I can't lose it. And I am going. Till than ma also woke up from her sleep and says that i should take Eeyana with me. I just nodded and said okay tell her to be ready on half an hour.
Mom went to my room to wake her up.
AUTHOR POV
Parul went to Wake Eeyana up she goes to her and said “ Beta wake up and get ready. You two have to leave for mumbai.”
Eeyana was awake anyway. She slid her blanket and asked to parul “what happened aunt why we have to go to Mumbai thats too on this time.”
Parul said “beta first of all its not aunty, it's mom aur ma for you. and for your question Arhaan has a important meeting in early morning.”
“You go with him and we will do the rituals some other day.” Parul said.
After that Eeyana got ready and went with him in his private jet.
When they reached there. He dropped Eeyana in his penthouse and went to the meeting.
Eeyana was in penthouse alone. She went to a room and slept on the bed.
When Arhaan came back to penthouse he goes to his room and change his clothes. As soon as he went to sleep on the bed, someone was already sleeping there. He guessed that it must be Eeyana and went into the other room.
He was thinking that why Eeyana was sleeping in his room. And went to guest room and slept.
When Eeyana woke up she was hungry because yesterday she couldn't eat food due to her panic attacks. So she went out From the room and looking for the kitchen. She found kitchen and open the fridge to find something.
Here when Arhaan woke up it was the time for dinner he went to the kitchen and found Eeyana eating icecream sat on the kitchen slab.
He cleared his throat and said “ If you are hungry you should make something for you”
Eeyana said “ No , I just want to eat icecream. Thank you ”
Arhaan said “ Okay i am making dinner for myself what do you want to eat ”
Eeyana said “ You will cook”
Arhaan said “ obviously Eeyana if i am asking , than i will cook na.” He said a chided voice.
She said “ I want to eat pasta with so much spices ”
Arhaan said “ I am asking for dinner not for evening snacks, now tell me what do you want to eat.”
Eeyana said “ I want to eat pasta as a dinner.”
He just nodded and said “okay you can go to the room when i will make it i will call you.” and Eeyana went to freshen up.
